Plants are very helpful and add beauty to your home decor. Both indoor plants and outdoor plants are essential as they not only add on beauty to your house but they also play an important role in purifying your surrounding air. Isn’t it fascinating they are the natural Air Purifiers. So why not build your own paradise at your home? They are easy to care and maintain.
It is very much essential to take follow these steps in order to maintain health of your plant. Here are few necessary steps and conditions through which you can take proper care of your plants.
1. Watering
It is very much necessary to maintain the balance of water for indoor and outdoor plants. Too much of water will cause roots to rot or if your pour less water the plant will dry out. So you need to understand the specific amount of water needed to the plant considering the climate. The specific amount of water will also vary from types of plants. Here are some tips that we would like to share with you for watering your plants.

In the first week after sowing the seeds, use spray bottle only for watering purpose. Do not use hosepipe, watering can etc.

Plants are best watered in the morning/ late evening. In summer and dry climates water twice a day. Use ‘Finger Test’ to determine when to water. Use hosepipe or watering cans.

2. Light Condition
Light is very much essential for the plant so make sure you place it at a best location where the plant will get enough sunlight. If you have a table near a window, then it will be the best location for the plant to be placed. The light condition depends upon the type of a plant. Most of the indoor plants require light and make sure you do not keep them in the dark room. So depending upon the type of plant we have few tips for you.

For all indoor / semi shade plants, please place the pot/plant in the area where indirect sunlight is available. (Not in dark room)

3. Weeding & Diseases
Weeds grow faster than any plant so it is possible that they may grow up overnight and may impact on health of your plant. So it is very much essential to take care of it. You need to keep an eye on your plant and pop up the weed whenever you see them growing in the pot.

4. Fertigation
Fertigation provides essential nutrient supplies to your plant and are required to used as soil additives. We recommend using organic fertilizers for your plants as they are safe and will not cause any kind of harm to your garden.

5. Helpful Tips
- Use pesticide preventive organic neem oil spray for every 15 days.
- Snip the remains of flower when gets dry.
- Re-pot the plant every year for maintaining health and growth.
- Check the media before watering the plant.
- Cleaning of dust from the leaves.
- Using organic soil additives - Soil Sattava 1-2 teaspoons every 15 days.
