Plant description:

The Calathea plant belongs to the family Marantaceae and Origin of country Brazil; Dark olive-green leaves with a red midrib and narrow bright red zone near the margin on a short-stalked plant with purple undersides the leaves on a short-stalked plant.
It also available one more colour shade that is leaves with a pinkish midrib and light velvet colour leaf edges.

Climatic condition and soil type: It can tolerate the soggy or water logged condition of the soil.Bright light is perfect for good growth. As a result of the dry air, the leaves will dry out and hang-down.
