The Schefflera species are splendid tropical plants. Long, shiny, oval green leaves protrusion gracefully from a central stalk on the larger Schefflera.
A mature Schefflera has 12 or 16 leaflets on a single stalk and an immature Schefflera has 4 or 6 leaflets on a single stalk.
The Schefflera, also known as the umbrella plant, is a popular houseplant due to the beauty of its dark green leaves that form "fingers" in a circle.
That is the reason on office floors and walls by sunlight add a nice appearance to a room. Schefflera care is simple and the plant will remain alive for many years.
The leaves are elliptical compound, with 7–9 leaflets that are 9–20 cm long and 4–10 cm wide with a wedge-shaped base. The young plant have very less leaflets and smaller leaves.
Climatic condition and soil type:
Plants can withstand both low and high temperatures.
It is best to keep in a warm, dry climate. Plants do best when exposed to full bright sunlight.
In hot and dry climates, they also grow nicely in semi-shade to shade.
It grows in any type of fertile soil that drains the water well.
