    Growth & Appearance:

Rangoon Creeper is a fast-growing, evergreen, and woody climber known for its lush green foliage and stunning color-changing flowers. It can reach a height of 20-30 feet when trained on trellises, pergolas, or fences, making it an excellent choice for landscaping.

    Flowering & Fragrance:

    • Produces star-shaped flowers that change color from white to pink to deep red as they mature.
    • Highly fragrant blooms that are most aromatic in the evening, attracting bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.
    • Blooms throughout the year, with peak flowering in summer and monsoon seasons.

    Where to Plant:

    • Ideal for pergolas, trellises, balconies, fences, and garden arches.
    • Can be grown in containers with proper support.
    • Suitable for tropical and subtropical climates.

    Light Requirements:

    • Thrives in full sun to partial shade (at least 4-6 hours of direct sunlight daily).
    • More sunlight results in better flowering.

    Watering Needs:

    • Requires moderate watering; prefers well-drained soil.
    • Avoid waterlogging, as it may cause root rot.
    • Water deeply 2-3 times a week, depending on the climate.

    Soil & Fertilization:

    • Prefers well-draining, fertile soil with organic compost.
    • Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season.
    • Mulching helps retain moisture and prevents weed growth.

    Pruning & Maintenance:

    • Regular pruning maintains shape and encourages bushy growth.
    • Remove dead, damaged, or diseased branches for healthier growth.
    • Train the vines on a support structure for a structured appearance.

    Pests & Diseases:

    • Generally pest-resistant, but may attract aphids, mealybugs, and spider mites.
    • Use neem oil or insecticidal soap to control pests.
    • Ensure good air circulation to prevent powdery mildew and fungal infections.
